    Mating wasps

    On the same bush as the bees in the last post were this pair of wasps (well I think they are wasps) were busy doing what comes naturally.

    A bit in shadow Ian - might get some more detail with the shadow/highlight tool

      Thanks for the suggestion Stan, will have a look at reducing the shadow.

        Good, clean shot, Ian, even if x rated!

        I've been playing with curves in lightroom to bring out the blacks rather than use the shadow tool as it seems to give more control and less noise. Might be worth a try.

        Like Stan, you're doing better than me with the 100 macro.

            I have had a little play with the image in Lightroom 5, not sure if it has made much of a difference though.

              I prefer the first one .... maybe sometimes a little shadow adds a bit of mystique ... imho.
