Nicely caught Stan, but I can't get too worked up about Wildcats. They just look like a more grumpy version of a tabby moggie.

And the Tail, oh and the fact that they would tear your hand to shreds if you tried to pet them.

Seeing one in the wild would probably change your mind Colin
I've only seen one and that was quite a few years ago now in the Perthshire hills - I had a Golden Retriever at the time and even she sat awestruck as it passed below us.

              Great capture Stan

I have been in the cages with those, or their parents on a photographic event and I didn't get the sense of awe that I got from the big cats. Just spitting, snarling, bad tempered big tabby's. I got a little bored taking pictures of them and didn't go into the last enclosure, so I spent more time with the Red Squirrels.

I too prefer the big cats but I would be pleased to get a shot as good as this.

Great composition, it sort of suggests a wild environment without your comments on where you made the image. Well done Stan.

                              Thanks Peter

We have a lot more shots of them just sitting or laying down and those are the ones that look more like a domestic moggie
