    Dark Red

This is one of the Reds from Eskrigg, it's quite dark in colour compared to most.

Taken with Canon 7D and 100mm f2.8L Lens

They are great images. I really like the pose you captured in the second one.

Great set , how do you manage to get close enough to these to be able to use a 100mm lens?

Thanks Tom, Mx5, Cyberman, Stan and Peter.

Peter, the squirrels at Eskrigg have got quite used to humans with cameras nearby.
I tend to sit behind trees poking the camera from behind keeping as quiet as possible.
I was quite lucky the other day as I was the only one there.
At this time of year they are thankfull for food so I take a large pocket full of hazelnuts and place them nearby to bring them closer in.

this is the first time I have had them close enough for the 100mm Lens, so they must be hungry.
