    More Red Squirrels

    This is the last 2 for a while, hope you have enjoyed them as much as I have taking them and editing.
    Both with Canon 7D and 100mm f2.8L Lens.

                We have reds in abundance at our lodge in Blair Atholl. One of the best places we have seen them is at Landmark in Carrbridge.

                    Thanks all,
                    Eskrigg nature reserve is open to anyone and its free, but feel free to leave a small donation.
                    It is managed by a gent called Jim Rae who does a sterling job.
                    the hide at the squirrel feeder is a shed built by Jim, but I find it ok to sit outside.
                    I usually wander and crouch near trees if no one else is about.
                    I was lucky yesterday.
                    There are no toilet facilities but the town centre is only 5 mins away.

                    Paul with your set up you should getsome crackers but to be honest some of my best shots have been with a 28-135 lens

                    PS it was on springwatch last year.

                      I remember watching that springwatch episode looks like a fantastic place
