    wild water vole

    stans post jogged my memory ,heres a 2011 shot of a water vole in the wild ,taken with a 50d and my old sigma 180 macro .processing was a lot less refined in them days to ,but its the only time i have seen the elusive buggers in the wild

    Excellent detail in the 1st, you can zoom in and see the blue sky and land in its eye!

      I have quite a few wild water vole shots from last year at Arundel so perhaps one up on you for them but you have the advantage with the stoats as I yet to get within any sightings of them wild

          First image Jeff is absolutely fantastic so sharp and and clear, the detail in his eye as Alan say shows the sky and land and his character shines through, the background adds to it as its how it should bem hidden amongst the foilage, best I've ever seen of a water vole... just brilliant
