    Roe Deer Stag Silhouette

This is the male Roe Deer who came over to check me out. he has done this twice now, on the second occasion I notice he now has three females with him. He obviously knows something is there but can't work out what. Love the way he circles me with the occasional "Bark". Only when I stand up does he beat a retreat!

This was shot in terrible light at around 4.30am when I was making my way to set up my portable hide. The sun was just thinking about coming up. I was surprised to get anything half sharp with ISO1600, 1/160 @7.1 handheld at 600mm.
