Another failed hunt

Another tense moment in our safari truck, the 5 lionesses in the foreground were watching the lead lioness try and get round the back of the herd. You can just about see her on the left hand edge of the photo about 2/3rds up. However the Zebra in the middle of the herd had spotted her and raised the alarm at which point the herd made a run for it and escaped.

Thanks Tom , I can't really capture the sense of tension and excitement I was feeling at the time , photographs in these situations simply dont capture it .

Nice capture. I understand what you are saying.( I am now watching Jackdaws and other Predators trying to catch Gadwall chicks and Goslings- See bird section). Not in the same league as yours. Very nice. Keep going.
