    Tigress

Few hours at Colchester Zoo on a bank holiday weekend during school holidays in scorching temperatures, what could possibly go wrong lol.
It was a day for a tiger today, not a lot of variation but she did at least stay in one place, fencing was around 10' away so couldn't lose it completely, tried to mask it a little in lightroom - not perfect but hey - it was a zoo so there are going to be fences sometimes!

All in camera jpeg with a few minimal tweaks in lightroom, 1DX mkII 200-400 with built in extender

    Thanks for looking

Still not sure why the photo's on the forum look softer than anywhere else, full screen they are pretty awesome (even if I do say so myself lol)

The expression on the first one is outstanding David, but the treatment of the last one masks the criss crossing of the fence so much better.

Thanks Colin, I did a load of the shots with the heavier radius grad treatment but for some reason the first one just didn't 'look' right, may take another look tomorrow.

            Mine too.

I have actually smoothed one (long story). It felt rough as hell, nearly like coir matting.

                    Re: Tigress

first and last look good but the middle ones look too captive both with the fence and the woodwork
