    Red Deer

When the snow gets deep on the moors the Red Deer stags come down lower to about 9/10ths of a mile from my house to feed. Bit shy today, with only a few visible, but we have had up to 60 come into this section on previous years.

Lucky You. Have you thought about setting a hide up, or cover yourself in a white sheet. I still got my Snow Camo trousers and jacket, but never get enough snow down here to use them.

Trev it is nearly a 2 mile trek from my place as there is a spate river in between me & the stags & you cannot guarantee that they Will be there. So I have thought about it, but as they normally come early morning & it is still below freezing then, no.
