    We both managed to get shots of the great spotted woodpecker on seperate occasions at Blashford last week, mine first then Dee's

        I get two varieties of woodpecker on my feeders but never when pointing the camera at them

          its taken 3 years of visiting Blashford to get to this stage

            Especially now she's "Qualified" and has a bit of time to really concentrate on her photography - we are all doomed!

            Nice shots of that elusive bird, it always hides from me at Blashford
            My camera is helping to look at the world more closely, then record what I see to share with others.

              Especially now she's "Qualified" and has a bit of time to really concentrate on her photography - we are all doomed!

              Nice shots of that elusive bird, it always hides from me at Blashford
              the past couple of months it has ben more regularly posing in the trees in front of the openiong window but more often than not either too high up or with branches in front. Last week there were two of them, probably male and female flying off together

                Nothing to choose really between them, It must be quite nice when your partner is pushing you to achieve higher standards or get left behind, when we go for a walk I get nothing but "ear ache" for taking so long looking for, and, taking photographs.
