    Martin Mere

    Popped in Martin Mere (en route Booths ... Lancashire's own Waitrose class Food emporia). Just happened to have my bag in the boot.

    I'm not a birder so don't really know what is what ... but here we go

      Very nice, MX! I've not been to Martin Mere, but I intend to try and get to all the WWT sites eventually!

      #1 - very tricky exposure, dark and light, but I love the ripples! #2, I think is a Shoveler!

      7D working well, I think!

        Thanks Mike & Mike.

        Mikep - these are exposure wise straight out the camera and with little or no cropping. Really does show that 7D can deliver (sorry, sounds like bragging) when you take the care to read the manual and set it up. If you do venture north of Watford don't forget your whippet and clogs.
