    Spent an hour on Saturday at Martin Mere to test my new 70-200 f2.8 IS Mark II.

    1. Cygnet


    2. Gosling


    3. Ducking


    4. Ducks in a flap


    5. Sailing By


    Anyway just testing the new lens (on my 7D).

    Nice shots and I like #4- plenty of action. How do you like the weight of the lens at around 1500 grms?

      I didn't notice the weight on Saturday ... for one I have replaced the Canon Cheesecutter with an Op/Tech strap and two I'm use to carrying a 20kg backpack when walking. Balance with a 7D is good ... I imagine with a 1-Series it would be perfect.

            Thanks everyone. It's a cracking lens.

            Di - the ducklings had already 'escaped' ... they were trying to get back to mum on the other side. Wardens informed about the situation.

                  Like these, and the lens looks to be the business, very crisp & clear.

                  3&5 are my pick of a good bunch.
