    Black cap

    Hi All

A black cap has been a regular garden visitor over winter

Nice catch John with a very nice Pose, is that Peanut Butter or similar? To me, sadly, it detracts from the shot a bit, having said that I would still be pleased if I had taken it.

Just my personal view about the Butter so please feel free to ignore me.

    Regards Paul

The trouble is you need peanut butter or the like to attract them but its a good idea to try and perhaps smear it at the back of the branch so it does not show too much in the capture and any odd bits that do can be cloned out. Otherwise a nice pose if a little tight at the bottom

Absolutely agree with what Stan says, about the peanut butter.
I think its a cracking image with a nice clean background.

Nice capture (male btw) - they're now starting to overwinter here so keep your eyes peeled everyone (they love honeysuckle berries btw)
