Sorry backgrounds on these are too messy and distracting. Robins are so common it is worth waiting for one perching on a cleaner background

Thanks Tom and Garry. Stan, thanks for looking. I value your feedback. I know that many people prefer an almost background-free photograph. I quite like seeing them in their environment. I am pretty sure that is not the current vogue and maybe it is an excuse for laziness!
