Taken on Fort Myers Beach, Florida. The background is a sandbank where the tide had cut a channel through to one of the lagoons. Fish get trapped in the lagoons, which in turn attracts the birds. The birds are used to people walking on the beach so it's possible to get quite close. 1DX with 500mm f4 IS L lens and 1.4 converter.
