Went to Stanpit Marsh for an hour after work yesterday to take advantage of the brief spell of sunshine. The tide was quite high which meant the birds were coming a bit closer

there are usually a good few of these at Stanpit but unless the tide is flooding parts of the marsh they are usually too far away
