    Re: Kingfisher

    not bad stan but
photo 1 i would have cloned out the bottom branch as its to distracting ,especially with the stump stuck up its toocas.

photo 2 i would have cloned out the bit of cotton/string/plastic hanging down from the bird ,nearly as bad as out of focus berries

    "touche" LOL

Having just got Elements 12 it is an opportunity to try out the content aware tool and i do actually prefer the first without the extra branch

it is good for certain things like the content aware and it did a good job with a pano but it wont replace my PS CS3 as I use curves a lot and actions which i have recorded myself

Good tidy up work and great shots, Stan
But how could you leave KF shots unattended for 2 years?? I waited that long for my first and treasure almost all of them!

I had processed quite a few at the time but then went out with the camera again and moved on.
BTW, I have not seen one to photograph since

                    Ha, got you there then
I think its time to change my avatar and notice that this is where you got your's from, so perhaps to encourage you to go get some more, I'll make mine the last KF that I got so you remember the challenge every time I post

it is the same bird but not the same perch
