    5 finches

Lots of activity on the bird feeder last week. This was when I was trying out my new 300mm with my 60D and not getting the quality I was looking for. But I kept this one because I liked it :)

Thanks for trying Stan. I really hope forum admin give this some focus. I've used hundreds of forums previously and never seen this before so I guess there has to be something strange about their architecture or hosting.

yes seems to have sorted itself out now.

the photo shows there is nothing wrong with the quality of the lens, its all quite sharp and looks like you get a good variety of birds in, presume, your garden so it would be a good idea to set up some nice perches nearby as a stopping off point and then you would be able to get some nice natural shots

Thanks Stan. This was actually in the car park outside the RSPB at Old Moor, Dearne Valley. I'm going to try and get out there again tomorrow lunchtime and see how I get on with the 60D vs the 6D.
