when we lived in Brisbane and had a pool the crows used to drop dried up bread in to make it easier to digest I guess. One day I found half a steak pie - I'm guessing the "ownership" was in dispute and it got forgotten about.

Scott, there's a lot of ownership disputes when the seagulls get at it but a steak pie?

Another one of those rolls was floating on the surface for some time until two swans spotted it. One swam towards it, then the other followed and got away with the prize. And it was all very genteel compared to the raucous battles the gulls were having:
