    another shot from last weekend ,not out due to the weather this week end

    Good shot of the bird but the oof grass in front of it puts me off. Realise it is difficult to get a clear shot of the bird when it is hiding behind the grass.

              I actually love the shot. probably because I took some in Cornwall last week whilst walking my dog and they are not as good. What i like about this shot is that it shows the skylark in context; hiding amongst the grass whilst nesting. I'd be interested to know what gear you were using as i was handholding my 300 f4 on a Canon 7D. I did get some stonechats as well but too small in the frame.
