Great Horned Owl

Fort de Soto has had these owls nesting near the beach for some time, they nest in a fork in a tree only 15ft above the ground and the wardens rope off an area all around them, the young had fledged by the time we arrived but we searched and found them up in the canopy, Not great pictures but well chuffed to see them

Thanks Tom, they were so high up that there was no chance of a clear shot but just very pleased to see them
