    Another Puffin re compose

    Just come across this shot of two puffins, both in the plane of focus and sharp but looking away from each other



    A prime candidate for a recomposition with photoshop. So I made a rough selection around the left hand bird, including a fair amount of his environment, copied, pasted and moved him to the right of the other bird. Then using a combination of a layer mask and the clone tool, blended in the edges before cropping



    There are of course two more shots there, the individual on the right



    and the one on the left

    Wow that's some pretty nifty PSing there Stan. Can't spot any artefacts on the final merge. Good job.

    I think though, I prefer them "not talking" in the original.

                Great set of images Stan. You are to be commended on your PS skills.

                How was the weather in Northumberland? If it's good there's no better place to go, but if it's raining ......................!!

                  we were lucky only one day of constant rain and that was an excuse to visit the bookshop in Alnwick

                    Good PS skills and certainly makes a good image of what you had.

                    Use to do stuff like this back in the days of film but it was a difficult task.
