Little grebes shot today at Cromford Canal near the Peak District (it's not quite in the Peak National Park but it's still a lovely area).

Difficult light but then it does mean it's a challenge. A really enjoyable shoot with these little guys.

Shot using a Canon 5D Mark III and Canon 400mm f/5.6L lens.

Nice shots. It wasn't until I saw the colouration of the young Little and Crested Grebes that I could see that they could be even slightly related. That black and grey striping is very distinctive though. A nice set
