The thing I like about these birds is that they are big enough for you to capture them without having to crop too, too heavily. That said, I did have my 70-200 and 2x extender on the camera. On balance I liked the catchlight in it's eye:

Nice shot - nice bird. The detail under the wing is brilliant - out of the two I prefer the first one.
