As a fisherman, it's a shame to see a nice Tench going down the Heron's throat.
Probably a mate of the one that took two good sized Goldfish out of our garden pond.

Excellent set of images Stan. Was it luck ? Considering the volume of photographic output from you nearly all of which are incredible shots I guess it's got more due to skill & persistence with just a dash of luck - as they say "the more you practice something the better your luck becomes".
