From the Hawk Conservancy Trust on Friday. Some of these came close to doing the birds justice. When my 7D mk ii arrives, this will definitely be a two camera visit. As well as the captive bird we had buzzards, kestrels and a wild red kite. With a 70-200 working best for the captives, I could have done with another body with a 400 on it for the wild birds. All-in-all my best weather day there, and only one twatting from a vulture to show for it...

And what I think is a long-eared owl, a very young one, that was very hacked off at being moved from it's nice quiet enclosure...
