Our Worcestershire Kingfishers are always very obliging by making a distinctive peeping sound before they arrive on a perch - wakes one up if you have gently dozed off on a long wait.
Are yours the same Stan?

sometimes you can get away with it, other times not, this helped by good light and good exposure in camera
