    blue tit about to land @ 1/3000, f 5.6 and iso 25600

Out of 200 shot's, I'm glad I got one half decent result - quite out of focus on the main part of the bird but the head looks about as sharp as I could get it.

        Great capture
Suggest cloning the items out in the bottom corner
        Cheers

yep i would give it more space at the bottom ,clone out the obtrusive bits and do selective noise reduction on all bar the head and wing top .that has the potential to be really good

Had a go at those alterations that you have all suggested. The cloning was OK but this is the first time I have had to use that noise reduction and just used their basic instructions to reduce noise - I take it when you say selective noise reduction that you mean I should be using masks to prevent certain areas to have any noise reduction?

Oh ye, couldn't really move the wing tips higher in the frame as that is the edge of the frame.

                  cheers for the help.
