goldfinch up close and personal

[the black fox]

found a new spot the other day ,and due to it being xmas its very quiet there ,the light when the sun comes out is lovely ,plenty of bird life and i can use the four wheeled mobile hide with ease .heres one of a curios goldfinch taken with the 70d plus sigma 120-400mm o.s .

Nice one Jeff.

A bit of a rarity in my garden, despite adjoining farmland, and putting out Niger seeds.

Green Finches, and Chaffinches galore, but very rarely a Goldfinch.
