our target bird for yesterday was a pair of snow buntings reported on a specific small beach area ,despite searching with others for a couple of hours we had almost given up when they flew past us to land on a shaded concrete sea defence ,we got fairly close before a passing cyclist spooked them again .anyway job done another tick for 2015
