                    The colours certainly do pop. Not the most attractive bird but these images are the best I've seen of a rook.

                      Rooks have looks that only a mother could love.

                        Nice shot again,of perhaps a much neglected bird. Just for your info Stan, the Rook, called as the Crow in Sri Lanka, is a "sacred bird", as it is a natural scavanger. One is not allowed to kill this bird in that part of the world.

                          Nice shots. They are one of my favourite birds with great personality and are remarkably clever. I have a Rookery not 100 metres from my front door and I have witnessed (and photographed) Rooks unhooking a seed feeder form it's bracket so it drops to the ground where the they can get at it, they've done it so often that I've had to place that feeder in a less accessible location!
