    Birds of Prey

Had the chance to photograph some beautiful birds today. Its not something I've done allot of before but I really enjoyed it & would love to do more. They are Incredible animals & I was really surprised to find out that any old Tom Dick can go & buy one. I would have thought you would need some kind of license but apparently not. Anyway on with the photos.

    All taken on my 6D & 100-400L

Birds have been posed very well to avoid rings on the legs etc
Difficult to pick a favourite but the buzzard head shot with it's fine detail seems to stand out a little more to me
            Cheers

Totally agree. All very good but buzzard edges it for me too.

They are all stunning images and I too would like to know where they were taken. Particularly like no's 1 and 4, though I may crop a bit off the bottom of #1 to lose the light coloured base.

At first I thought they looked like BWC for location but on second look I'm not sure now.

A beautiful set tom, and very natural looking.

I'm guessing you were at Stonham Barns again.

                          BTW, did you use flash?

Thanks everyone for the comments. Still got allot to go through so will post more up soon.

These were taken at Suffolk Owl Sanctuary at Stonham Barns as Dave said. They do photographic workshops so decided to try one & I must say it was well worth it!
