Really like the first shot, it reminded me of the bird in "The Snowman" cartoon.

Re: Red Kite in Snow Storm

First is a really different image - looks like it was snowing really hard. Down here I would have to resort to photoshop for snowy images

Very well done on both images, but I really like that snow shot. Don't see many of those.

Re: Red Kite in Snow Storm

                        Thanks all for looking.
Although I WAS taking photos inbetween snow storms I struggled to get decent images in the snow as I found the AF struggled a wee bit.
After thinking about it I wish to HOLD MY HANDS UP and say that I edited the first image with PHOTOSHOP by adding the snow.
( I think Stan sussed it out )
I had no intention of cheating , I simply stated it was a RED KITE IN A SNOWSTORM..
My intention was to use an image of a Kite which I had taken that was not as sharp as I would have liked to show on its own, so I thought about and tried adding the snow to help hide a soft image.
I thought it turned out well even though it looks like a lot of snow.
I apologise if anyone feels cheated.

I was wondering if my next image should be titled MOUNTAIN OUT OF A MOLE HILL.

Blimey, that first shot is different, absolute belter of an image.
