    Pintails

    Probably my favourite bird from Slimbridge last week, loads of flight shots and difficult to choose but here are a couple

    Stan

    I have yet to see these near me this year.
    I usually manage a shot or 2 on a pond but not been close enough for flight shots.
    These are both well exposed with great detail, and blur on the wings too.
    Cracking images.

      slim bridge seems to attract the species ,i presume there truly wild stan .pintails are normally hard to track down

        totally wild, last weeks sighting posted over 250 and even today at London Wetlands there were a few and more local, a friend was at Blashford Lakes last week and there were a good number of them there too.

                    usually on a full day out we will shoot around 300-400 shots between us but here we came back with close on 1000 - so yes a particularly good day
