fieldfare tail fail :-0(

[the black fox]

a fieldfare from yesterday (YES STAN I KNOW I CUT HIS TAIL OFF) .there i was sat in my bronze coloured portable hide ,and hadn't even got the seat belt off when this fieldfare jumped down and chased a blackbird in my direction .i had the 400mm f5.6 on and the 1.4 tc and you obviously have to take what your given ,bar the tail though i love the eye on this and its full frame out of the camera totally uncropped

You did well to gather the camera and get a shot at all! As you say the eye expression makes it.
