          I really don't know how you do it Stan - such a continuous and vast array of bird shots - I'm quite envious !

              these are not this years shots James and like Jeff, I have not seen either so far this year - both are usually in abundance at Blashford and Warnham by this stage of the new year. Planning to go to Warnham tomorrow but no idea what if any we will find

                    We were inundated with Siskins this time last year, they covered the feeders and I have one wide shot with well over 60 in it. This year: one or two. But the Goldfinches have taken over. Ah, the variety of nature.

                    I particularly like the Redpoll, by the way.

                      i,m in suffolk next week just outside of cambridge if you want to try it out stan .not sure if thats in your range or not
                      bit too far for a day trip and no Warnham today as there has been an accident on the M27 causing long delays
