    Water Rail

    The water rail was again very visible at Slimbridge and was more out in the open than last visit so plenty more shots. This one I hope is a bit different, shot as he was crossing the water having picked up a little snack. I have left more room on the left than usual to avoid cutting into the circular ripple. Shot with the Sigma 150-600 but only at 200mm

      Crikey Stan it's night and day with that lens. Everything is just so sharp and colourful. (Must not, must not, must not change gear)

          if that had been mine It would not have crossed my mind about cutting into the ripples, another good shot of an elusive (usually ) bird

                  Looks a belter of a lens, does it work with your Canon 1.4TC?

                    Shape, nice colours and good composition. You're certainly getting some good results with the lens.
