    blackbird the saga continues

as a lot of you know i have two bodies to use this new lens on ,after a lot of messing around i decided that i.q wasn't up to it on the 1d3 and switched to the 70d .reasons being my lad had helped with the m.a on the 1d3 and recommended that i go back to 0 adjustment .the trouble is i prefer the handling on the 1d3 .so on friday night i set up the test zone again and came up with exactly the same results as i had got a week or so earlier that it needed a setting of -5 -6 for best performance .so heres the result of yesterdays field trip a blackbird taken at 600mm at 1/250th sec hand held .focus point is just above the eye on this i think its good enough anyway

Looks ok to me, plenty of detail in the feathers and the image looks nice and sharp.

Nice detail in the feathers and around the eye. Well done Jeff

Jeff, a very nice clear shot. The only comment I would make is that IMHO, the image is too large and hence looks "unnatural" to me. To keep to a certain perspective would appeal to me more. Having said that I am aware that you are experimenting with your new lens.
