    Opportunity knocks.

    I have a couple of trees at the end of my garden which are used as a launch pad by blue tits and great tits to my feeder. Purely by chance had a quick look to see what was on the the feeder when I saw this bird of prey. Managed a couple of pictures through my double glazed window. My neighbour saw it as well and phoned me up to let me know it was there. Watching the behaviour of this bird it was trying to catch the tits through the trees. Never had a chance to catch one. Apologies for not knowing what it is.
    Taken on my 7D MKII and my new 100-400mm MKII lens.

    great looking bird and well done for getting it through glass! - nice start with the lens!

        A super shot. Great eye contact and the chaos of those twisting branches gives great context to the image

                      Thanks Jeff. You might be right that's it's a juvenile judging by the way it was trying to catch a great tit amongst all those branches.

                          Nice captures and they have come out very well considering being taken through double glazing.
