    Ragged Robin

We are away based in Gloucester for part of the Easter hols and today, despite the weather we went to Slimbridge. Just a robin but a very ragged one - looks very much like he has been in the wars

              Re: Ragged Robin

Very tatty individual. Not unusual to see robins that look a bit battered as males battle for territory at this time of year.

Got to say this bird looks very scruffy and suspect probably more a disease issue in this case.

                Thanks guys

Ant, he didnt seem any the worse either if it was a battle or disease as he was feeding on a rather large worm

Quite true. Looking very ragged indeed. But quite a nice, sharp picture.
