      we did that at Easter two years back and although the fields were covered on the way from Hereford to Gigrin, there was very little snow at Gigrin itself

            they come in en masse to feed, so they get very close - these shots are cropped a little for composition but I did have some shots so close that both top and bottom wings were clipped

              Excellent every one. Don't think those splodges are on the sensor, they're OOF, more likely somewhere else in the light path.

                  sorry but i dis-agree with that david ,if you look at the two photos there both in the same place on the frame so definetly dust on the sensor .a blow through should clear it as there new cameras ,followed by a manual shake a few times
