Another quick post.
Today male was preening to try and get some bits out of his plumage, didn't seem to manage to remove this bit of grass though

Spent more than an hour waiting for male to return the other day with something for female and he never turned up. Of course I'd walked to the other side of the valley and he came back. Grab shot so not fantastic and large crop due to distance. Female flew off to eat prey and male (back to camera) went and sat on nest but not before giving a passing jackdaw some grief.
