    Heron 4 Hire

    always worried about posting in this section with the skill level here .....

    taken yesterday on one of the worst days all yr - grey, flat and even raining at times ....today wall to wall to sunshine and clear ...think is called sods law

    Like the Heron - looks as if we've inherited your grey/white yuck here today! Great for the garden, but not for our neighbours' wedding today. Please send us the blue sky and sun!

          yep the Heron is the shot, as for the phone don't be silly Alan thats in his office he was just outside checking for punters ;o)

            Wouldn't worry about posting sure you are aware that any comments will be both honest and helpful.

                  I did ask Chris but he took one look at my camera and lens and doubled the price - should have hid it ;o)

                    Nice detail on the feathers of the heron, however the eye seems to be a bit soft and I don't think the sign adds to the image IMO.

                    On the second image, even though the sky is gray, you got some nice detail of that bird in flight, so well done, since there appears to be some good contrast between the bird and sky, it should be easy to lift him from this image and place him in a better sky Ian

                      thanks Tom ...I thought the sign added interest and fun to the shot as its not a wildlife shot the likes many others shoot here but more so a bit of fun with a bird in it

                          cheers Nat .... If you turn up with your G15 you'll probably get away with €10 - bring the 6D and more like €50 ;o)
