I parked up in the NT car park at Brean Down and on getting out of the car, I looked over the sea wall onto the rocks and saw a small bird perched and looking at me.
So I went to the boot, got out my 7D2 with short zoom attached, swapped to the sigma 150-600 and went back to the sea wall. And the bird was still there. So I took a few shots. This is one of them.

Then I moved further on and found this little bird, with three others all on the rocks looking at me:

And it turns out they must have been a Rock Pipit family because the first is the adult and the second a juvenile.
Considering how grisly the weather was today, I'm pleasantly surprised at how well these came out. And quite please the birds all hung around to let me shoot them.
