    Sedge Warbler, I think

    After photographing the sunrise an Low Newton happened on Newton Pool Nature Reserve.

    Not many people about at 6.45 in the morning so had a hide to ourselves.

    Took this shot but to be honest not sure about the ident. Never been good at differentiating reed bed warblers.

    So if any one can confirm or provide correct ident would be appreciated

    Lovely shot. Sorry also not much good on ident of warblers.

      It looks like the RPSB's picture so I think you're right. Little sods hide in reed beds so you can hear them but not see them so well done to catch one out in the open.

        Yep always seem to be on the other side of the reeds. Think this one was enjoying the early sun.

                  Thanks all for comments. This bird wasn't singing not that would have helped, I'm pretty good at ident most birds from call but these warblers have always tended to sound a bit the same to me.
