    Female Stonechat

Another one from today at Brean Down. She as definitively teasing me. Posing at one end of the hedge, then as I got close she'd move to the other end. So I'd follow her and she'd wait until I was close enough, then back to her first perch to start the teasing again. My wife and I had a little difficulty identifying her as most shots of stonechats are of sleek birds with flat feathers, not puffed up like this. Shot with my 7D2 and 150-600.

p.s. I need to do some selective NR in LR, the feathers in her breast look a little smeary...

Looks like a wet juv so that would make ident a bit tricky.

Cracking detail a bit of processing will be worth while.

Nicely captured Andy, does look a bit bedraggled though.

        super shot Andy
Could the bird be moved slightly to the right in the frame I wonder?
        Cheers

              Thanks for looking everyone.

As Dave suggested, I've moved her to the right as we look at the shot and I've also tweaked the NR, clarity and saturation a bit.

I think it's beautiful and well captured. A slight magenta tinge on my monitor.

                      Thanks David, Chris and Paul.

David, I took a look and tweaked the WB. I think the replaced version is better...
