    another pufflin

    another shot of the puffin leap off at bempton ,spent a fair bit of time with this correcting the blue (reflections) colour cast and seeing how far it would take a crop (down to 2.4mp) so quiet pleased with the finished result

            the trouble i have with this before stan says something is that in curing the blue colour cast on the rocks .i have inadvertently altered the blacks on the puffin .as shown here which is a couple of frames down ,the one thing that is noticeable is out of a ten shot burst there all reasonably in focus so the a/f is doing its job .

                you're lucky, I have been at Goodwood Festival of Speed since 6.30am this morning and only just got back. I like the pose apart from the eye not being too visible and the non black colour of the puffin.. At the time did you not consider altering the caste on a separate layer and painting the puffin back in
