    Chicks

Although not good for photography, the fencing of the breeding islands has worked well this year and there seem to be a good number of growing black headed gull and sandwich tern chicks

BHG first and then sandwich tern both shot with sigma 150-600

Very cute Stan in an ugly baby way.
Is that a twig or something in the top right could that be removed by slight cropping?

behind is the breeding island, so the chick is not straying far from home - a lot of mess which has already been cropped off - you are right should have got rid of the twig as well
