Another against the light shot of the Wood Sandpiper. I've learnt that only about 20 pairs of this species nest in the UK, in Scotland, and this juvenile may well be from that breeding population on it's migration to Africa. Other breeding populations in Northern Russia and Scandinavia would normally be seen a little later in the year if they come via the UK, most fly South over mainland Europe etc.
