    Slimbridge

Was at Slimbridge a few weeks ago. Had quite good views of kingfisher and sparrowhawk but a bit too far away for current set up.

Did manage to get reasonable images of black tailed godwit

Good poses on all three Ant but the godwits are both underexposed

Lift the first by a stop and the second , half a stop and they both really come to life

On reflection I agree with your comments Stan. I'll have a go at tweaking them.

Very nice shots, the light in the first has a touch of evening about it, I think it looks good as it is, but would like to see a lifted version to compare with though

              Oooh nice

These waders can be deceptive. The feathers around their head and neck are quite fine and it can look like you've blown the focus when you're actually spot on...

Well captured Tony, the edit versions have brought them to life. Just need to give your sensor a clean now [emoji3]

Was my thought too but after checking can only think those 2 spots were flys.

                      Re: Slimbridge

They could be flies Tony, they could even be described as flying dust bunnies

Easy removed though if thet are flies much easier that messing with cleaning a sensor, I always need at least two goes at sensor cleaning

Could have removed in PP, just being lazy.

The second set is excellent. The spots are probably flies or dust in the light path, sensor spots would not be OOF.
